Judas Priest의 17번째 정규작인 "Demolition" 앨범은 논란의 여지가 다분하다. 일렉트로닉 사운드의 도입, 하드코어적인 리프의 차용 등은 다른 밴드라면 몰라도 Metal Gods라는 이름하에서는 용납될 수 없는 성질의 것이기 때문이다. 음악의 내용물만으로 본다면, 오랜 세월 동안 함께 해온 멤버들인 만큼 노련미가 곳곳에서 엿보이고 있다. "Jugulator" 앨범보다 한층 더 Tim "Ripper" Owens의 보이스에 초점이 맞추어져 있는 느낌이다. 평작 이상의 음악적 내용물을 담고 있는 음반으로 Ripper의 하이톤이 돋보이는 "Bloodsuckers" 등을 담고 있다. Glenn Tipton이 프로듀싱하였다.
