두 번째 앨범 이전에 국내에 라이센스된 통산 4집 Burning : A Wish 앨범으로 2, 3집에 비해서 일반적으로 떨어지는 평가를 받고 있다. 허나 사실 본작 Burning : A Wish은 Lacrimas Profundere의 끝없는 역량을 짐작할 수 있는 무시무시한 완성도를 가지고 있는데, 극단적인 대비와 처절함이 대폭 감량되었음에도 한층 무게감있는 음악적 깊이와 긴 여운을 안겨준다. 여러번 심혈을 기울여 다듬은 듯한 흔적이 곳곳에서 눈에 띄인다. 눈믈을 자아내는 폭발적인 감동을 선사하는 최고의 트랙 Solicitude Silence, 서정적이고 유려한 Christian Steiner의 피아노 연주가 일품인 A Summer's End등 개인적으로 강력히 추천하는 음반이다. 이제 대가의 위치에 도달한 듯.
