Kai Hansen이 Helloween 탈퇴후 결성한 Gamma Ray는 Helloween, Stratovarius 등과 더불어 가장 뛰어난 Melodic Power Metal 밴드로 통하는 대그룹이다. 변절된(?) Helloween과는 대조적으로 전성기 시절의 Helloween과 흡사한 사운드를 구사하여 호평을 얻은 Gamma Ray의 데뷔작 Heading For Tommorow 으로, Helloween보다는 약간 더 익살스럽고 풍자스러운 사운드가 감지되며, 이것은 이후 Gamma Ray 사운드의 핵심적인 요소로 자리잡는다. 명보컬리스트 Ralf Scheepers를 탄생시킨 앨범.
