명반 The Dark Side of the Moon을 탄생시킨 엔지니어 겸 프로듀서로 유명한 Alan Parsons와 작곡가 겸 프로듀서로 알려졌다는 Eric Woolfson.
두 거장의 콜라보로 시작한 이 프로젝트는 미국의 셰익스피어로 불리우는 Edgar Allan Poe의 문학들에 숨결을 불어놓으며 음악으로 재탄생시키기 시작한다. 이 앨범의 수록곡 역시 하나하나 그의 작품들을 옮긴 것이다.
일반적인 프록 락으로서 감상해도 충분히 감동스럽긴 하지만, 원작의 메시지과 스토리를 뒷배경으로 이해한 상태에서 들었다면 훨씬 더 좋았을텐데 하는 아쉬움이 남는다.
