파워풀하면서도 익살스럽고 신파적인 사운드가 극대화된 Powerplant 앨범으로, Gamma Ray의 디스코그래피에서 정점을 차지하고 있다. Heavy Metal이라는 표현에도 만족스러운데, Gamma Ray의 앨범 중 가장 폭넓은 매니아층을 확보할 수 있는 작품이지 않나 생각된다. Pet Shop Boys의 곡을 리메이크한 It's A Sin, 팬들 사이에서 높은 인기를 구가하는 Heavy Metal Universe ,뛰어난 구성의 엔딩곡 Armageddon이 주목할 만한 트랙이다. 개인적으로 선호하는 스타일의 앨범은 아니지만, 역시나 본전 생각날리는 없다.
