Concrete, as it lives and it breathes
Yeah it greets me, with it's heat on my feet
And it takes me, to the paths off the street
Yeah it leads me, to what I need to see
Yeah this concrete, if you look, it is neat
How it needs me, without me incomplete
As I sweep the, free of dust and debris

And grass speaks, to my ear I do hear
This new plea, as I move to my knees

To the grass that spoke to me and swayed

"If I can't breathe then how can you speak?"
