John Zorn is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, saxophonist and producer, best known for his work in the avant-garde jazz scene and genre. Whilst Zorn's work is predominantly of the free/experimental jazz caliber, Zorn has worked with a multitude of artists across a vast array of genres. Two of Zorn's best known projects are Naked City and Painkiller, both of which experimented with grindcore and free improvisation, amongst other genres. Zorn is the founder and owner of Tzadik Records.
