White Skull은 이탈리아 출신으로 Underground Symphony에서 세 장의 앨범을 내놓았으며 Nuclear Blast로 레이블을 옮겨 발표한 앨범이 Tales From The North이다. 멜로디와 파워, 스피드를 동시에 부각시키고 있는데 연주면에서 에픽사운드로 분류하여도 크게 무리가 없을 정도의 중세적이고 화려한 면도 보인다. 이거다! 싶을만한 임펙트를 주는 트랙이 없다는 것이 취약점이다. 이쪽계열에서는 힘없는 고음을 구사하는 보컬이 대다수인데, 여성임에도 불구하고 파워보컬을 구사하는 Federica가 대단하게 느껴진다.
