1968년 네덜란드에서 태어난 Valentine은 아주 어렸을 때부터 클래식 음악 수업을 받았는데 6살 되던 해에 Queen의 "Bohemian Rhapsody"를 듣고 상당한 충격을 받아 뮤지션으로서의 길을 결심했다고 전해진다. T-Vistix로 밴드 활동을 시작한 그는 Zinatra 재직시의 작곡력을 인정받아 솔로 아티스트로서 레이블과 장기계약을 체결하게 되며, "4 United"는 절정의 Operatic Hard Rock을 들려주는 네 번째 정규작이다. 굳이 Queen과 비교하자면 좀 더 클래시컬하고 서정적인 폭넓은 하모니의 음악을 구사하는데 멜로디 면에선 원조를 능가한다고 생각한다. 환상적인 멜로디를 뿜어내는 "Back on the Track" 등 전곡을 추천한다. 정말 잘 만들어진 앨범이다.
