Michael Schenker와 Ulrich Roth 라는 걸출한 기타리스트를 배출한 Scorpions는 1971년 보컬리스트 Klaus Meine와 기타리스트 Rudolf Schenker를 중심으로 결성되었다. 1972년에 데뷔작 "Lonesome Crow"을 내놓았으며 본작은 통산 10번째 앨범에 해당한다. "Lovedrive"와 "Blackout" 앨범으로 스타덤에 오르기 시작하던 이들을 마침내 미국시장을 장악하게끔 만들어준 이정표적인 작품이다. 동양적인 애수어린 보이스와 파워를 겸비한 클라우스의 보컬과 군더더기 없는 깔끔한 멜로디 메이킹으로 대변되는 Scorpions의 명반으로, Melodic Power Metal을 창출하게 되는 German Heavy Metal의 무한한 가능성을 예견한 앨범이기도 하다. 멜로디를 모르는 사람이 없는 대히트곡 "Still Loving You"로 대중의 사랑을 한 몸에 받았다.
