이 앨범을 듣고서 느낀 것은 바로 '절대적인 신뢰감' 이다. 앞으로 Nightwish가 테크노를 시도하는 한이 있더라도 모든 음반을 구매하고 볼 것이다. Nightwish의 네 번째 정규 스튜디오 앨범 Century Child 으로, 전작들과 비교하여 화려함은 다소 줄어든 반면 멜로디가 더욱 슬퍼지고 여운이 깊어졌다. Tarja Turunen의 안정감 있는 보이스등 한단계 성숙했다는 느낌을 받을 수가 있는데, Tarja Turunen의 탈퇴 이야기, 내한공연취소등을 한방에 날려버릴 만한 음악적 내용을 담고 있는 멋진 앨범이다. 개인적으로 가장 좋아하는 Nightwish의 곡인 Ocean Soul과 싱글로 많은 인기를 얻은 Bless The Child등 모든곡에서 집약된 환상적인 완성도를 접할 수 있다.
