어제의 용사들이 뭉쳤다. 솔로 활동을 펼치던 보컬리스트 Bruce Dickinson이 6년 만에 그리고 기타리스트 Adrian Smith가 9년 만에 Iron Maiden에 재가입하면서 6인조 트리플 기타 시스템으로 중무장하여 돌아왔다. Bruce Dickinson의 폭발적인 보컬을 들을 수 있는 "Brave New World", 드라마틱한 곡 진행력을 최고조로 끌어올린 "The Nomad" 등 전성기 시절에 비견될 만한 뛰어난 음악으로 그동안의 부진을 한방에 날려버렸다. 결과적으로 "Brave New World" 앨범은 Halford의 "Resurrection" 앨범과 더불어 2000년에 발표된 작품들 중 최고의 평가를 받았으며 Iron Maiden이 누렸던 과거의 영광을 완벽하게 재현시켰다.
