1999년 런던에서 결성되어 두장의 데모를 발표한 바 있는 Dragonforce의 정규데뷔작 Valley Of The Damned 이다. Noise 레이블에서 전폭적으로 지지하고 있는 만큼 그 내용물도 알찬편인데, 시종일관 늦추지 않는 빠른 스피드에 오밀조밀한 멜로디가 가미되어 색다른 Melodic Speed/Power Metal 을 들려준다. 투베이스 드러밍을 기반으로한 무시무시한 질주력으로 통쾌함을 안겨주지만 보컬리스트의 파워가 떨어지는 느낌이어서 사운드의 중압감이 떨어지며, 녹음상태가 거친 것도 Dragonforce가 해결해야 할 취약점이라 생각된다.
