Additional notes
From left to right: Sotirios Kelekidis, Harry Busse, Marc Reign, Marc Grewe, Sebastian Swart.
Their original band name during the very early days was Cadaverous Smell, then Minas Morgul. However, since they were all lovers of J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings", they chose the name Morgoth (after the nickname of Melkor, the renegade and evil Ainu, "the great enemy") for their band in 1987. The band split-up in 1998, but reunited in 2010.
