Machine Girl are an American experimental electronic duo. Matt created the project at Long Island, New York in 2012, then later inviting percussionist Sean Kelly to play live drums in 2015. Matt defined in an interview with Revolver Magazine that Machine Girl is "fucked-up electronic punk" and that they don't like the industrial tag for it being "very goth, and very black and white." considering the project as "a lot more colorful."
