Additional notes
Track 1: recorded at Workshop Studios, Redditch August 8, 1991.
Track 2: recorded at Rhythm Studios, March 3, 1992.
Red wine vinyl, comes with a xeroxed black and white insert.
Also came with a copy of a faxed sheet from Lee Dorrian explaining these two tracks.
Solitude has also been released on Master Of Misery - Black Sabbath : The Earache Tribute, but with a different vocal mix.
The cover art is titled "Tree of Life".
This 7" was used as part of a marketing tool during the period when Columbia Records and Earache Records worked together. During the distribution of the Cutting Through Columbia Hard Music Promo, a note came with it stating that if you liked Cathedral's track "Autumn Twilight" enough to purchase the Soul Sacrifice EP and mailed the UPC label to Columbia/Earache, they would send you a special gift and this 7" single was that gift.
